The Optical Shop
We
are very proud of our Optical Shop and the service we provide. Bob Carpenter,
our Optician, has been a Dispensing Optician for 23 years and has managed
our Optical Shop since 1995.
We have one of the largest selections of frames in the Low Country, stocking over 750 different frames. We have a wide selection of frames from high quality, low cost frames to some of the highest quality designer frames made of the finest materials available. All of our frames come with a one year warranty.
Our
optical lab work is done by Essilor, the leader in quality materials and
workmanship. Our Optical Shop is connected to their labs through a revolutionary
computer system, eTrace, which takes precise measurements of your frames
and transmits those measurements along with the prescription to a central
computer, which routes your job to the Essilor lab which is best equipped
to make your lenses in the least amount of time. Your lenses are then
made to the EXACT dimensions of your frames. This allows
for very precise fitting of your lenses and the shortest possible turnaround
time. It also allows you to have lenses replaced in your current frame
without the inconvenience of leaving your frames with the optician for
several days. We are one of only a handful of optical shops in South Carolina
to have this technology and capability.
We

Extended Payment Plan
We are able to offer our patients a NO INTEREST Extended Payment Plan for purchases in our Optical Shop. A 50% down payment is required to have have your glasses made. The remaining 50% may be paid over 2 months with no interest or additional fees.
- 40% off on non prescription sunglasses with purchase of Contact Lenses. May be either with the purchase of replacement lenses or with new fit of Contact Lenses.
- 30% off on second complete pair of glasses with the purchase of a complete pair of glasses. May be combined with glasses purchased through a vision plan. This discount applies to all purchases.
